“L'eredità della Gerla” tells the forgotten story of the Carnic porters, women who during the First World War faced impassable paths, frost and enemy fire to bring food, medicine and hope to the soldiers in the high mountains.
Today their voices live again in the stories and in the gaze of today's women, guardians of a memory that belongs to the mountains and to all of us.
